thank you for visiting the firewerks studios weblog. i am your host and resident blogger, dave, and as well as the ceo/found of firewerks studios.
i would like to tell you a little about what firewerks studios is and how it came to be...

i have always been interested in all forms of media. i love to watch movies and figure out how directors and special effects artists created certain attributes to their movies. i also love to listen to a wide range of music genres. because of these "loves", i have developed (and am still developing) a film company that i call firewerks.

as my first endeavor, i am working on a documentary about bands that appeal to the christian music market, as well as the mainstream market. think of bands like switchfoot, skillet, underoath, and many more bands that are part of this "phenomenon" known as "crossover".
the pre-production process is still in the works, but i am believing that this is something that needs to be documented and shown to the world we live in.

more recently, i am developing some short films that will be released as a boxed set or multi-DVD set called "in short".
